The final negotiation phase of the Global Plastics Treaty – the Fifth Session of the Intergovernmental Negotiation Committee (INC-5), was grandly held in Busan, South Korea on November 25. The United Nations Environment Programme is committed to promoting the birth of a legally binding international agreement on plastic pollution, especially marine plastic pollution, in the near future. South Korean Environment Minister Kim Wan-seok made a deafening appeal: “We must end plastic pollution before plastic pollution ends humanity!” This loud resonated strongly at the scene. After all, scientific research has clearly revealed the profound and serious threats that plastic pollution poses to human health and the planet’s ecosystems.
The use of paper buffer packaging as a replacement for traditional plastic packaging is a practical and effective strategy, aiming to fundamentally reduce the environmental burden caused by plastic pollution. Paper materials are derived from renewable resources, such as trees, and their production process is relatively environmentally friendly. They can naturally degrade or be easily recycled and reused after being discarded, greatly reducing the risks of long-term environmental pollution and ecological damage.
In this critical period of global fight against plastic pollution, every small choice could become an important force in driving change. Our paper buffer packaging, with its environmentally friendly, efficient and high-quality characteristics, not only provides safe and reliable escort for the products, but also becomes a powerful weapon for us to reject plastic pollution. Let us work together to support environmental protection with practical actions, choose paper buffer packaging, protect products, protect the earth, and contribute to the protection of our common earth home. Because, to end plastic pollution, start from me and start from now on, and make the future greener and better!
